Friends who inspire me

4-2-11: I showed up today at my friend Will's house to find the table covered with beer bottle tops that he, his girlfriend Emily, and his daughter Harlo had been decorating with images to be turned into pins and magnets.  I freak out whenever I see friends doing recycled projects.  It excites me like nothing else.

11-1-11:  At Seconds Eco Store (the wonderful little shop where I work), we have this hanging outside our door to celebrate the Halloween/ Day of the Dead season. Sara Basehart, the owner of the shop made it.  She continually amazes and inspires me with her art, her ideas, and her passion for life.  The flowers are made out of soda cans, and the horns on the devilish creature at the bottom are made from zippers.
